How it works

Five steps, all from your terminal and RSS reader.

  1. 1Connect over SSH; the first connection creates your account.
  2. 2Post public links with one SSH command.
  3. 3Follow people with their invite link.
  4. 4Read new links in your private RSS feed.
  5. 5Repost or unsubscribe from links inside the RSS item.

Quick start

Every action is a single SSH command.

Create your account or show your invite URI and RSS URL.

ssh dejavu.excale.fr info

Good to know

Is anything private?

Posts are public. Do not post links you expect to be private.

RSS URLs are private bearer links. Anyone with the URL can read that feed and use its action links until you rotate the token.

What do I need?

An SSH client to post and follow, and an RSS reader to consume the feed.

How does following work?

Share your invite (dejavu://<invite>) from info. When someone follows you, your new posts land in their feed — but only links they have not already seen.
